Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times has written that Karin is "a gifted Asian American actor." Her first feature film Better Luck Tomorrow directed by Justin Lin, in which she plays the leading female role screened at festivals across the country, including Sundance, but it was when MTV Films purchased it that Karin became known to everyone world wide. Karin lends her acting talents to star in My Life...Disoriented in-between her film, T.V. and stage roles.
