Claire is half Japanese, half Chinese and grew up in Orange County. After graduating from UC San Diego, she spent some time studying abroad in Guatemala, Colombia and Ecuador. She is also recently married.

Currently an ABC/Disney Television Writing Fellow, Claire will spend the next year working with ABC Executives developing scripts. Previously she was in the FOX Diversity Writing Program. Claire has worked on numerous television shows and pilots, including ABC’s Thieves, FOX’s Skin, and most recently NBC’s Medium, where she sold a story.
