Clifford Lo was born and grew up in Los Angeles, and is of Chinese ancestry. Prior to beginning his entertainment law career in 1996, Clifford Lo studied Economics and Political Science at Yale University, and obtained the legal degree of Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Boston College Law School.

Mr. Lo cut his teeth in the industry as in-house counsel at The Walt Disney Company from 1996 until 2002, where he advised Disney's international distribution divisions on intellectual property matters, talent deals, and production- and post-production- related matters.

Mr. Lo's Disney experience included film, direct-to-video, television, records, consumer products, videogames, internet, theme parks, and other media.

In 2002 Mr. Lo transitioned into private practice, as the principal of Law Offices of Clifford Lo. He now uses his transactional studio background to benefit the careers of emerging filmmakers, screenwriters, and other talent in the entertainment business, both in the US and abroad.
